This latest offering from Measurement Computing and Firetail DAQ, the USB-1208FS-Plus, is a USB DAQ multifunction module that sets a new standard for low-cost, high performance PC-based analog and digital I/O combined with unprecedented ease of use. The USB-1208FS-PLUS features a newly desiged USB driver that is more efficient tying up few PC resources and now Mac and Linux users can access great value high performace data acquisition products in Australia from Firetail DAQ due to the inclusion of support for the the open source DAQFlex software framework. The USB-1208FS-PLUS features eight single-ended inputs or four differential inputs with up to12-bit resolution, sampling at rates up to 50 kS/s. It also has eight software selectable input ranges, two 12-bit analog outputs, one 32-bit counter, and 16 digital I/O lines. Port B of the DIO features a new high feature of +/-24mA per pin current output. The USB-1208FS is reliable and versatile enough for most DAQ applications.
