Overview

The Measurement Computing PCIM-DAS16JR/16 from Firetail DAQ is an ideal low-cost data acquisition solution for new applications. It offers 16 differential, or 8 single ended analog input channels with 16-bit resolution and a maximum sample rate of 100 kilosamples/sec. The board offers the same 8 software programmable input ranges as its ISA based counterparts and provides 4 digital output, and 4 digital input bits. The PCIM-DAS16JR/16 uses the same 37-pin “D” connector as the CIO boards and is compatible with the same wide variety of external connection and signal conditioning products

Measurement Computing's PCIM-DAS16JR/16 is also the ideal solution for users of the once popular CIO-DAS16JR and CIO-DAS16JR/16 who wish to migrate applications to the PCI bus. The PCIM board offers complete connector compatibility with the CIO versions, provides the same input ranges and maintains identical non-analog input capabilities and performance. ISA based applications that take advantage of Measurement Computing’s Universal

Library driver routines can also be migrated to the PCI bus without requiring your software to be rewritten.
