General Description
The USB-1608FS from Measurement Computing adds a low-cost 8
channel, 16-bit interface to any USB port. The USB-1608FS
provides one A/D converter per channel, allowing simultaneous
sampling over all 8 channels.
The USB-1608FS offers continuous single-channel sample rates up
to 50 kilosamples/sec. Multiple-channel continuous sampling
rates up to 100 kilosamples/sec total. A burst mode is also
provided that allows 4 channels to be sampled at 50 kS/s each
for up to 32,768 total samples. Input ranges of ±10V, ±5V, ±2V
and ±1 volt are software selectable and each channel may be set
at any of the four ranges independent of other channels.
The combination of the USB-1608FS and Measurement Computing’s
DAQ software suite gives you a complete data acquisition
solution that will have you taking measurements in minutes. The
device is fully USB plug and play and easy to use. It obtains
all required power from the USB port, so no external power
connection is ever required.

Tracer DAQ: A simple, "out-of-the-box,"
fully-configured strip chart recorder, data logger, and
scope application. Combined with Measurement Computing's
easy-to-use USB hardware, TracerDAQ delivers incredibly fast
time to first measurement. Once your Measurement Computing

recording and charting your measurements in a matter of
minutes.
InstaCal: Installation, Calibration and Test
software in one package simplifies these important steps as
you turn your PC into a measurement system. Installation
detects new hardware and configures your computer and board.
Calibration software automates this critical step and keeps
your measurements accurate. Test routines verify that all
the board's features are operating, and will speed you to a
